Got bored today, noticed I had some mdf left, so i decided a dual cup holder might be nice in the ol' Hunter, so I went at it. with: 1) a template for the space its going to fit in 2) Jigsaw And the mdf as mentioned Circled around a crc can for a rough size, and cut holes out (terribly i might point out ), and then went around the edges with the jigsaw to make them a wee bit larger, so Wendy's etc. cups will fit in aswell as the stubbies Used the same felt/suede type shit i used to cover my speaker boxes, to cover up the horrible looking wood colour Haven't fitted the cup holders into the centre console yet, but it matches the template, so it shall be good Whahooo, dual cup holders (still need some glue on the edges to stop the material fraying and going all tatty looking

If not, get the Nolathane numbers you need, ask Ben from Repco how much, then We'll go to BNT to ask Philip how much, then find prices on TM and see what we can get them at Can get mate Dylan to get them doubly cheap from BNT, hi uncles knows guys there like his own family so should be able to get them well under $1008 for you

You gotta take the leaf springs out, and he does them from there, but if you were keen you could drive to my house, take em out, take them to this dude who does them, then when we get them back (around 3.5 hours later) chuck them in with the blocks.. Or just bring them round this side of town and take them to him, go to some shops or something for the afternoon and go pick them up
  9. I spent $46.99 on 4 nolathane bushes [which anthony and i had to grind down anyway] for rear leaf spring bushes, and then i go on te.co.nz, and they have the exact right ones [no grinding down or anything necessary] for $2.00

  14. Should be able to go 3" lower before it inverts.. if u wanna go any lower than that, go 2" and 2" blocks aswell
  15. Leaf resetting all the way. Blocks a U bolts are gonna cost u the best part of $100 anyway, i got my leaf springs reset for $120, its just a better way to do it, can go down as much as u like etc and u dont have to fluff around with u bolts and having horey looking blocks under your axle housing my vote: reset them. not much more cost, and is way mroe solid
  16. Watch out though... if your front eye bushes need replacing, unless u know somebody, be prepared to pay $60-70 each, thats IF youcan find them ( guy who did mine told me this )
  17. What sort of mounts would your recommend? Custom made ones?
  18. Cant say I know from experience, but a couple guys I know have lowered escorts and reckon its a struggle if you want any passengers and recommend an extra leaf. If i had a lil more cash i would have got an extra one aswell
  19. $50 a leaf if i supplied the leaf off another set of springs.. He said more if he were to supply it, so I'd say somewhere around an extra $80-100 for the leaf to be added, then a lil more as u would need new centrebolt.. (Unles your standard 1 is ridiculously long of course)
  20. Was going to get another leaf in for super stiffness But it rides nice as is, rubs on the guards a bit cause I haven't rolled them yet, that's my project for Saturday
  21. So these lotus engines are designed the exact same as the 2.3?
  22. Lotus slant 4s in those Lotus super 7s? Went in one of those when I was about 8, that thing moved for the size of it
  23. My advise, get rid of the blocks, and get the leafs reset.. Its what I did.. Well worth the $120 it cost me
