  1. then again. could just be their signal for a connector
  2. the four little thingys are almost like defogger grid symbols but not quite. my guess would be a fuse or defogger. dunno y u would need 4 fuses for a single gauge..?
  3. fluid was getting a little low..
  4. i got a brake problem now.. they WERE fine, the other day, so i put some more fluid in the master and a wee bleed, now the pedal is stiff as all fuck and u gotta give it a bit of effort to get any braking power at all.. ideaS?
  5. Ok, went for a wee drive last night, after bleeding the clutch yet again, while i was bleeding it, had a few pumps after i did so, then it seemed ok.. drove down the road a little bit, and noticed the brake pedal was stiff as all fuck, and i could smell the fluid (whether it had been brake or clutch i dont know) and the clutch went slack again within probably 850m of my house, only stopped about 3 times. Drove home. Took the mother's car
  6. yeah hoping for some improvement. used to having the seat as far back as it ca go to get eough leg room to get into the car with that big wheel.. new ones midget compared to it. Needa get me wheels aligned, front left tyres worn to almost bald on the outside edge, so i threw the standys back on to avoid having to buy new tires just at the mo Yes i do! Im in West Ak, But I'll pay shipping if needed? Whata ya got?
  7. Nice day today, wake up and see my steering wheel has arrived from Trade Me guy, he said in the auction it had an unknown boss kit maybe from a BG Mazda, so i tried it on my spline anyway, it fits A much better size than the old bus sized steering wheel I'm used to Just added a few washers to the bottom, so the spline was deep enough for the nut to tighten on top And fitted nicely Just need one of those horn button thingys, anyone have one, dont care what it as long as u cant see inside. Bit tatty, but not complaining for $12 incl the boss kit, just had to get washers, for $1.00 didn't end there Also got the new gaskets etc, and put the motor back together Nice and shiny Thy new gasket ^ Had that lying round for a while Got told I can get a rebuild kit for the master for $25, and a new slave for $40, or slave kit for $10. I'll inspect and locate the problem before I do either of those.. Good day overall
  8. Yee sweet, I'll give that a go soon, and see what i get
  9. As in remove them and clean in and outside?or just clean all parts where a leak would be evident should one come into fruition? yeah, i decided to leave them out for now, unless i get a holesaw to tidy up the holes still work. just ugly as all fuck
  10. Yeah u can see everything. Might just all new clutch system lol. Pref. not tho obviously
  11. New clutch Mine was very nice too Till it fucks out every week or so.. The fluid does disappear.. It goes somewhere, cause theres often only a little bit left in the master.. but im yet to find where it goes.... doesnt leak from the master, hose or slave i know that much..
  12. Yeah, pulled all the carpets out, no wetness, aside from where i spilled water but its miles from the pedal. No fluid on the outside of the cylinder near the flange, underside, or no evidence of it dribbling down the firewall, no fluid around the pedal box, or down the pedal. No fluid evident leaking from the slave (its not inside the bellhousing so id see fluid everywhere if it was leaking outa there). None on the floor or down the side of the bellhousing or even non leaking out of the front of it. Cannot find a fluid leak ANYWHERE. Hence the issues lol
  13. its only easy at times, (usually when it is, i check the master, and shes bone dry)
  14. Seems like it'd bea leaking, or bypassing somewhere, cause after a bleed its fine... if it were the clutch itd just slip or sumthn? its fine when the pedals sweet, but when it is slack then u can barely shift cos u cant engage it nicely. i'll give that one a go tomorrow after the old manifolds make their way back on
  15. Is that just gonna tell me if slave is ok? or could it be the master aswell?
  16. hey guys Recently had a problematic clutch.. It'll be fine, then after a couple days of use, it becomes more and more easy to press down, and got to a stage where as soon as i took my foot fully off the floor, then i was moving After a good bleed, it goes back to how it should be again. But I've had to bleed it three times in a matter of 2 weeks. There's no obvious leaks in the clutch line, or around the slave, it's all dry and clean, no fluid on the pedal or dripping out the master anywhere, the only thing i can think, is that a seal has gone in the master\slave and the fluid is bypassing a seal and getting lost in the system? Anyone had these sorta problems before\is there anything I can check to maybe narrow the possibilities down?
  17. Bubblegoose's washing powder idea sort of worked, but probably would have needed another few attempts to get it sparkly, which I couldn't be fucked with, so fresh lick of paint it is Shiny now Got 3 of the 4 studs sorted. 1 of them, somebody has tried to drill it out before and fucked my whole process.. gonna have to go mental on it tomorrow, get me new gaskets and bolts for the flange, then back they go, onto the motor
  18. Took off the manifolds today (and a bit more stuffs), to attempt to repair the exhaust leak coming from between the exhaust and inlet manifolds Gasket semi fucked (like this is many parts) Here's where the leak was coming from.. made a mess of me inlet manifold Oh no!! Broke the studs coming out of the exhaust manifold. Oh well.. have to redo those then Now gonna attempt bubblegoose's trick of cleaning manifolds See how that goes in the morning, and also, put thermostat back in
  19. Tis called Magnaflux Spotcheck.. Comes in a very thick pen, with 2 parts, 1 a cleaner, 2 a developer.. Probably does the same as pressure tank full of dye, case thats all it really is
  20. there's this shit you can buy, cant remember the name of it, but you spray it on the head, and its a red spray, and you can see cracks really easily
