    lol (its deamon tweaked compared to a stock avenger but no not SR20 / 1uz hell fire spitting) Price / availability? would be neat, we;re allowed to dream out-loud here, I dont think an extra 2 speeds would be any good / the down low torque (or lack of) would make me want to kill myself I fear, its worse than bad Turbo Lag below 4k RPM

    good question : Aiming for track work in the next 5 years like the RS cup (same but differnt to the 2k cup) or back onto the Gravels or dumb stuff like drift days I do have a few more 40+ year old spares but that's where their weakness is (age is not an advantage like a Couger), have had it up to 200kph on Stands with the oem Gearbox top / 4th Gear pull etc

    So did a bit more of this on the weekend (Image from last year) and now I have half the forward speeds in the white car, my original 1300 4 speed, which is now behind the 1600 TC 90hp donk options for 5 speeds? other than the usual Sierra type 9 (almost bolt in) http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/kitcar/kb.php?aid=160 wont be needing cert and have an Auto Bell housing ready to go to maybe get something fab'ed up etc W55 over kill or fancy sequential all off the cards but happy to daydream a little here RWD Toyota or something serviceable / future proof MX5 / are becoming unobtainable these days right? or just stick to the tried & tested Costworth cog swapper please discuss

    Long & short of it is We pitched camp Friday night Half an hour from or 1 hour from Napier in a Paddock where a guy who really like water dug a hole & made a Wakeboard Park came home Sunday Arvo Sun Burnt & ears still ringing from the Bands, Bangs & Bangers kind of @Gasser's idea, 1st weekend in Nov next year : lock it in Eddie

    yea I went back & watched the cops take photo's & interview driver while Middy did more 'shopping' didn't leave till 6, big puddle of claret on the road & a suspect Honda Integra with windscreen caved in gave me a bit of a shock & yeah chur for the meet Hobbs & thanks @_Matt for the company on the way down, soz felt bad for bailing & not letting you know what we were doing on way hm

    Reinstalled right rear chrome trim on "Red", only been off since we painted it couple years back I'll get round to mud flap and trim on other side one day

    My indicator just got stuck on so I parked it up, was a relay, Replaced radiator & tires, nothing much really, put gas in them

    I built one of these once back about 2006 0r 2007 https://www.jaycar.co.nz/high-energy-ignition-kit/p/KC5513 $67.90 is it relevant to the thread? remaps via a simple little ECU, still got he MSD box & everything and a Hand controller for it never used it, went Electronic ignition that came with the (new at the time) motor on the racecar anyway theory was to lock the weights & use this to 'recurve' the ignition via the device probably could "audrino" it these days for less effort / better results?
