  1. the only thing that stops shrinkage is light coats of primer/paint,and not sanding it back/cutting in a big fuckin hurry. The longer between you painting it and cutting it the better. Shrinkage comes about cause the medium hasnt dried peoperly. Ive been in the biz for 20+yrs,and thats what ive found through trial and error.
  2. bro,dont use that red 3M shit,it srinks back real slow and you get divits in your paintwork where you have used it. Id just spray it dry with primer or a few coats of spray putty. Prepwork makes the job.
  3. aint that a DS? One with the headlights that turn with the wheels? I got a mate that used to work for Bishops Garage,exclusively Citroens. Took me for a ride in one of them XM V6 fuckin things,like the one of the Ronan mivie chase scene....they fucking boogie!! Go over judder bars at 100km+ and barely even feel em. You can unbolt the roof off that fucker too!
  4. dotn know if its usefull,but on my auto to man conv on my ZX i just looped the wires and all was good?Computers are members of the IHC on ZX's anyways,lol.

Took the Z for a raping today.....definately need some bigger tires,and some brakes too Handbrake doesnt do much when you got a deadend street, with only a chain across the reserve driveway to aim for.Was fun though.

Cheers Req.I pulled again for the third time today cause i noticed it was leaking between the master cyl and the spacer plate that goes between the servo and the master.The fluid was leaking from the back of the master,but what has me fucked is there was a sealant between the master and the spacer,so it was either a poked setup to begin with and someones flogged it with a sealer,or theres meant to be seepage and the sealer is factory? Ive not played with master cyls alot,so am not too clued up on them. So id assume i need to re-kit the master? Thanks again for your reply.....saves a little sanity

Hi guys.I lost me fucking manual for the 260z and am having trouble bleeding the brakes.The MC sounds like a gorilla in its death throws when I pump the pedal.Im getting some pressure on the pedal,but it still goes flat to the floor when held down.Ive bled the MC a few times and still fuckall happening. Someone help this old prick NOT attack the car with a 8lb sledge

  12. Shore performance are a pack of halfwits. I took my Mach1 muzzy in there to have a flatspot in the low rev range sorted,they reckoned I need a new coil,so i told them to biff one in,still bucketing at low revs.....they said maybe a new dizzy...sure bif it in i said.....then it was the fuel pump...again....biff one in....then it was the carb...too small for the 351 clevo so I got a brand new 950 dominator which they rejetted to an 850 or something............yep......it was still farting at low revs....then they dyno'd it and told me it was making 190kw at the wheels....when i know it was a good 280kw.......was a late 10sec car. All that work was dont in one day,at a cost of almost 2G,and they still couldnt remedy the prob...or be bothered to tell me anything other than "oh,it must be a sticky valve" Smegheads.
  13. oopos,forgot to mention....the Zed is actually a JDM Fairlady Z,with electrics and rallye clock (apparently a rare model?) Originally a L20a but now has the L28e with mods to come. thought id mention it as some purists say its not a 260z......well now it not i suppose,lol.
  14. Heya Seibu.... I already got them ZG flares on the make,been making a few sets lately Was going to go with minilites,but may keep these ones,rare as truth from uncle helen clark,lol. The ZX in that shot was snotted on the way for a WOF after a rebuild of 3yrs,yes I nearly killed the little cunt,but I had my 7mth pregs Mrs in the car,so he was lucky...I still have his details,so it may be time for a visit....still fuckin hurts losing that car,had it for 10yrs. Mr Mk1....yep,that burnout had the islanders chasing me up the road with fucking crickit bats and fence posts..............untill i mentioned maybe i should let my dogs off for a run....funny they dont like dogs,even with a bat. Nice to meet you guys....ill update my project thread as things go. Ive put the whole back end of the car back together,just need to put the front screen in,finish the doors and bonnet,gap the Gnose out.......and off for a WOF....on a transporter this time.....If someone hit me in this thing,theyd be needing a fast infusion of claret!
