Had a browse on TM, and seems you are correct. What type would be best? One that just sits on top of the other spring or one that has a spacer/nut inbetween the two sets of springs? EDIT: I do use some back country roads for some very hard driving. Would keeper springs come into effect here?

Thats a good point reke. Did not pop into my mind. Nah I wont get keepers. Would rather wait until later and get some aluminium stance shocks that are independently adjustable. Thanks for quick replies though.

Nice. but. how does it work? whats the point in that bubble thing? also: when lowering a car, springs will eventually become uncaptive. this is bad. however, is it still bad if springs become captive again once car is placed on ground again and vehicle weight is applied?

Went to lower rear end a bit, however I noticed that just about any change (3mm) would cause the springs to become uncaptive. Kinda lame.

I dont have any sort of solid mounting. The factory system does. I only have rubber hangers. Have flexy on here now. Will see how long it lasts

So I put a flexy in. Better do the job. Time to save up some money again

Fark im sick of exhaust leaks. I think it is because the factory one has a solid mount from just under the first flange to the gearbox. I removed this for the new system. So what might be happening now is the vibration from the system is loosening the nuts and they keep falling off. So I need a suggestion on how to fix it. Please keep your biasestness aside. What would be best, putting a flexy joint in or going back to factory exhaust? Regard Dave
