  5. Small backpack like I wore was year is comfy enough and carry’s everything you need
  6. Standard front is 12t and havent counted the rear but its got lots of teeth dirtbike spec. Im hoping with a less rich tune and a tutu with squish it will improve the performance but that can wait til after east cape
  7. Just got back from a succesful 80km test ride, other than almost doing a shakotom and ending up in the native down a bank all is sweet. Bit doughy with the 15t sprocket on but its happy sitting on 70-75kph at 8000rpm on the flat so that better than being tapped at 70kph doing 10000rpm. Still got a weird issue where it sometimes cuts out when you close the throttle at high speed but thinking its too rich on the pilot/idle circuit. Pulled the spanny off to give the head bolts another retorque now Iv done 150kms, piston and bore still look good through the exhaust port so im confident its not going to destroy itself like the first big block kit.

  11. $4 light bar and switch installed and mocking up the pannier mount. Not sure how strong the alloy mounting frame will be so have to figure out all the points I can brace it to

  13. Went to go for the first test ride with the 15t sprocket on and the clutch was slipping as soon as it came on pipe! FUUUUUUU But luckily the clutch just needed a slight adjust to stop the slipping, will get out for a speed run tomorrow morning.
  14. Picked up ammo tin from bunnings this arvo for some ADV bike pannier stz. Will figure out how to bolt it on the side over the weekend along with mount my light bar. Fits a 2T oil bottle perfectly with plenty of room for spare tubes plugs and a few tools, thinking of hiding a USB charging port in it too for the phone/bluetooth speaker 15 tooth sprocket is on and hopefully its not raining tomorrow so I can go for a top speed run.
  15. Went down the google rabbit hole on plug chops Getting close but would rather a bit rich for doing 600ks round the coast so swapped the 118 out for 122mj. Run out of daylight/fucks to do another plug chop but will try again tomorrow after work
  16. Fuck that Id die. Took it for a hoon up the road and almost stacked it leaning over and dragging the the peg/my steelcap gumboot.
  17. Added more brap to the stable in the form of a 2007ish PW80 Pretty rough looking but runs sweet enough for how cheap it was. Will get a new plastics kit/decals and basic tidy up to give to the kids at Christmas time so they can learn the allure of 2T life
  18. Got the case sealed up with Yamabond 4 and fresh oil in the gearbox. No leaks and shifted through the gears perfectly so I must of got everything back together right. Been slowly chipping away at things like getting the piston/barrel back on, used copper gasket spray on the headgasket then remembered I had a torque wrench that started at 10nm. Got pedantic and 3 stage torqued the head down to 15nm. After waiting all week for the plastic bush that connects the 2T pump to the throttle cable and a chat to a bike mechanic I decided to go premix so you know its always getting enough oil to keep things happy. Left all the pump intact with a ball bearing in the end of the feed line incase I wanna go back to factory setup some time. Bunged the biggest jet I have in the carb (130mj) and got it fitted up again this morning. Started 2nd kick which was a good sign then settled into a nice smokey idle burning out all the 2T oil used in the assembly. Took it for a quiet 20min ride to run it in and get some heat into everything. Its running riiiiiiich but mint. Gotta get some new plugs so I can do a proper plug chop and start dropping the jet size back to maximum braaaaps. Will retorque the head in the morning then buy some spark plugs. 15 tooth front sprocket should be here on Monday after taking the long way from Italy via Australia to get here. Will be interesting to see the top speed with it fitted, im hoping it will give it enough legs to sit on 75-80kph without having to ride at WOT everywhere
  19. Got the TS back together and just got back from a 20km run in ride. 2T pump blocked up and running on premix now so I know its getting enough oil. Currently its got a biiiiiiiiig jet but will start dropping jet sizes tomorrow after Iv given the head a retorque. So stoked to have it running again

  21. Lol this aint your typical RSA The menu is a burger and chips or the deepfried seafood platter. We got signed in by Auntie and a few of the other regulars last year when we wanted to drink as per the rules but it was a very relaxed affair.
