I did a VERY shit chop for gunmetal/black. for some reason(i am shit) my gun metal was more brown metal. oh well

Just did a few measurements and if they were right (probly not). Then I can do a 15x8 with a +10 offset and it will stick out the rear guard by 1.5cm. so with phat d1 stretch I should be able to get in there with no rub if I get the ride height right. *dreams* It will have to be a 7 on the front tho. and even that is gonna be fucken tight

got diff cleaned up and got a coat of pa10. also have engine cross member cleand and painted with new bushes and seals, to be put away to keep it purdy. Got rear drums cleaned up and painted with high temp paint And places that carry datsun 1200 ex stock in whakatne actually rule my world. brake parts for the win. Fuck scraping underseal off licks balls hard. It is a cunt of a job and it goes fucken every where

I am thinking of getting some 15x7 (15x8 if I am feeling silly) nascar type D-slots made up through elite wheels What do the masses think?

I have been planning a blow through turbo setup for the a15 in my datsun. The hardest part would be the exhaust manifold. Then you would need a bigger fuel pump and a rising rate fuel pressure regulator that is for carby's. then you gotta run oil lines from the oil press sender and back into the sump above the oil level in the sump to stop it from frothing. also you wil probly have to run water lines too and from the turbo (some dont, most do). I am goin to blow through a small intercooler to a custom plenum and two su carbs. tuning the carbs and getting them balanced etc will be a lil difficult but it will be a fuckin fun lil project. edit: also you have to lock the dizzy and I think you are supposed to remove vaccum advance

Got a layer of dynil (sp?) cloth resined in and some microballoons+resin+sanding lots = very smooth tray that is going to look fucken schmick

Another small update. the tray was beaten to fuck so me and the old man decided to make a completely flat floor by fibreglassing in a sheet of ply. First the ply was glued down then the edges were glassed in, next step is to finish the glassing and then fair it so it is smooth enough for some ultra super gloss topcoat chur

haha what do you mean engineers, I designed and cut the plate out my self. with a fucken hacksaw They space the front end out 2.5mm each side. To do it I used a drum brake front end and the disk just replaces where the drum would sit. I got more photos if people would be interested in a workshop submission or tech section?

they are quite a bit back, so you can get some serious cruch on and still not hit it, got to be better than that american car (forget name) that had it right in the boot, and exploded at the slightest bender ^^ Corvair- unsafe at any speed

I know of a guy that put cressida front struts into his ke36. Reckoned they have decent sized rotors with a decent caliper. Im pretty sure it was an easy conversion but you wont get a 13" wheel over them. so 13" madjays are out

Discution happens ----->here<----- Hey boes, I have been a long time reader of all the projects a goin ons on this site so I figured I would share my project. 1982 datsun 1200 ute. I bought it off my grandma for a grand and then realised that I had bought the special lightweight rusty model. So a year later and there is no rust and all that is left to do is a bit of body work and then top coat......(pics up later) Here is a list of modifacations so far. Body: shaved lip around tray and cab, Shaved the handle off the tailgate and adapted a hilux catch system to work, shaved fuel filler flap. Goin to be painted red like that glossy as fuck red but a solid colour none of that mettalic shit. Engine: A15 with a cam and a 28/36 downdraught weber, Which is later goin to be twin sidies and even later ahve plans for a dirrrrty carby turbo setup Interior: Fixed backs, electric windows (I got bored one rainy day, works mint), Black and grey door cards and shit to come. I have also custom fitted the front disk setup from an s14 200sx (non turb) with adjustable coilovers to sack her out. and in the back it has a rearranged leaf pack(ghetto stz FTW) and 2 inch block so she tucks haaaard. For wheels I have some 14x6.5 chrome cragars that look slightly bogan but I am looking at getting some others that are a secret at te mo and If it goes thru they will look fuckin bangin.
