i know that on the hunter engines, the iron heads and alloy heads are not straigh swap. alot of the engine parts a re different so you cant just swap them.not sure about the super minx but i imagine its the same/ i could be wrong/often am

the avenger engines are different to the 1725 engines. stud pattern is same as small ford, ie 4x108. look for some twin carbs, they float around on trademe. have been told that carb is the most restrictive aspect of the engine and is the first place to look for easy ponies.

anyone got any thoughts on wat colour to get my rims painted/powder coated? they are curently gold mesh with silver lip but the paint is fucked so im going to get the lip polished and the centre powdercoated. was thinking of keeping it gold or maybe gloss black...? car is red with a balck stripe down each side so the black might tie in with that... any ideas?

they are in johnsonville. the people said they will drop them off at a depot but that i would need to organise everything....how do i do that from my end? do i just ring up and give my details and say that someone will be bringing wheels in...why cant sellers just put in the 10mins effort to cost it up, fukn annoys me if someone lives near jville it would be greatly appreciated if they could grab them and send them off for me....sounds like less effort haha

hey all. just putting the feelers out at the moment, but if need be, would there be someone in wellington who would be able to pick up a set of wheels for me and drop at a freight depot? or even better have freight hookups and get them sent to me in christchurch? will cover all costs obviously and will provide extra for gas/booze/getn up from the computer haha chur
