There is everything you need to know here. Basically you need to depressurize the system. replace the front to back pipes with individual section pipes and valves, cut some metal off the displacer rods on one side, repressurize, check ride height, adjust again if need be, trim other side to the same measurements, repressurize and then bounce on the corners of the car to check it will maintain that pressure. Labour on all this would be huge as you have to do abit of waiting around, like an hour here and there to let it settle etc. Can also add a valve to the end of the unit and fill it up with 50% liquid and run at 70psi. Thats nitrogen filled psi too btw. More hassel than its worth? Or skilled hand backyard jobby? Anybody feel confident to undertake this kinda work on my car? Oh yeah, and just releasing some fluid out is no good. I want it lower and still hard. Its like anything, make it squirt and it gets soft! Now i understand what the young boys next door were saying. Put the rods out, cut em off and fill it up with water. What a hory job that would have done!

Hmmm, i had joked about some shadow-chromies haha. Not keen to do anything right away, well i am keen but i dont have the pingaz. Hmmm i do still have the standard wheels for it. I like the mags on it tho. It scrapes like hell already.. Is there any other way round this? Like lowering it on the 14" its got? The guards have already been rolled etc. Is it just easier to stick the original ones back on? Will this make it a bit unsafer? The old rims are skinny as. I need like lesson 1.01. Car jargon for begginers. The bullet mirrors you are talking about are on the windows right? What makes them different from the illegal mirror tints? Or you mean the side veiw mirrors. Nah its not a GT boohoo, although someone at beach hop got my hopes up and told me it was only a week after i bought it. Maybe you saw us there? We had a few fatties in the back and it was scraping on its rims everytime we took off/cornered. Funny as hell. Bought it from a mini enthusiast in hamz, there was another one on TM the week before in Napier. I missed out on the first one and was gutted and then to find another identical within 2 weeks? Insane. It had to be for me. I actually have no idea what i liked about it, the color is great, i didnt really wanna get a minor as heaps of chicks drive them. Dont wanna fit it! Wanna stand out! Personally i reckon the orange grill looks a bit rude and had planned to do exactly that, spray it back to black. I even have the tin already waiting for me in my garage I was wondering whether to lose the plastic stripes down the sides but then im going to have to bog and paint which im reluctant about. Its old enough that you would notice the difference in color between the old and new. Open to any other suggestions. Wanna get the carpets replaced at some stage, should probably just concentrate on passing its warrant right this second tho lol.
