  1. Top engine mount went in/lined up no worries, lower one needed a peice welded to the frame, but pretty simple, will try and remember to take a photo for ya, I've got a FR80 for the misses I want to put a 125 pitbike motor into aswel, so much better to ride with the bigger motors, just means you can get out in front/ away from traffic easier, safest place to be on a hog is away the fuck away from everyone. Also the 125cc four strokes do better burnouts
  2. Progress has been abit slow, been pretty busy with work and the booth has been tied up this week, Got a coat of etch on it, just need to load it up with 2K primer then start hummising the duck tail and a few other bits C90 Primer by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr C90 Primer 2 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr hopefully some real progress next week
  3. Ebay, it's the same as that maroon one, searched custom C90 seat, they do that one and the one that's on the grey primer one aswel
  4. found a couple of photos of how I had it after man camp, had to ride it to work for a week while my ute was at the panel beaters,(someone backed into it) Was good to use it regularly again 20160728_111441 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 20160728_111452 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 20160728_111500 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Finished up the duck tail last night 20160816_184903 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 20160816_184909 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 20160816_184919 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Also my seat turned up, so I could then position the tail light 20160817_181518 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Pretty happy with the build quality 20160817_181523 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Just need to modify the hinge bracket to make it flip forward 20160817_181523 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Need to get some tyres and go from there
  5. aw nice, its alot more work than I first thought there was gonna be. looks alot cleaner than just straight cut tho I only ever had a left one, made a raty steel one for the right. Ive just brought a set off ebay for like $30 - $40 delivered, shipping was fast aswel, has got here well before all the other stuff I ordered
  6. ^ cheers man, will try and sort some tread out soon, Will stick with the shit stock forks for now, got a rebuild kit coming from ebay, also prefer the look of the leg shield and stock forks, even tho they handle like turds So I made a start on the rear duck tail tonight. Thanks to Russell (LOW'N'SLOW) I got a CD90 rear guard section that I could work with c90 01 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr c90 02 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr c90 03 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Also "de-seemed" the rear end, just abit of a cleaner look c90 07 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr c90 04 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr c90 08 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr c90 06 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Also now looking more like Ill go hard tail again aswel c90 05 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Needs the other side finished and some more shaping, but overall pretty happy with it, Once it gets a layer of humus and bread sticks, should look pretty sweet
  7. So after taking it to lead foot, and riding around up there, the motor was struggling to hold onto all of its oil Honda C90 25 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr So for my 30th just been, my misses organized everyone to chip in for a new motor. Thanks to everyone that did, ended up with more than she needed for a 125cc replacement, so upgraded to a 140cc Honda C90 24 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 23 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr mocked up Honda C90 22 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 21 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr I needed to get the motor in, running and all setup for man camp, Hence the rear shocks Honda C90 20 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Got a CT110 seat and bash guard Honda C90 19 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Some fairly aggressive knobbies Honda C90 18 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 17 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Modified a CT110 rear sheep rack, and decided that the low narrow bars weren't gonna cut the mustard Honda C90 16 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 15 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr So I templated up this adapter to run a normal set of bars, and then got it water cut out of alley Honda C90 14 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 13 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 12 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 11 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 010 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr pretty happy with how it worked out, Still needs abit of a tidy and polish, but worked for man camp Honda C90 09 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Went on a test ride Honda C90 08 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 07 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr welded on some extra tube to keep the packs away from the rear wheel Honda C90 06 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 05 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr even had time to give it all a quick spray Honda C90 04 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 03 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Video of man camp https://youtu.be/cB_ymQVl62g So now that thats done, time to strip it down and tidy it up Honda C90 02 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Honda C90 01 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr So Im waiting on a whole bunch of parts to come in, but figured I can start cleaning up the frame and what not. I want to run some really big tires, as big as I can without widening the forks, or extending the swing arm, but will mos likely flare the rear of the frame for clearance, If anyone can shed some light on how big I could possible go, that would be a big help in giving me somewhere to start Cheers
  8. So I was thinking about this bike today, and kinda realized Ive taken it all over the place. Brought it from the naki, riden everywhere around Wellington, took it on a 12 day road trip around the whole south island (back on page one, down the west coast up the east), taken it to Napier swap meet and rode it around there, took it to lead foot and rode the drive way and then around the coromandel, Napier 1398508_10154107301295725_1716000458829997551_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 10275336_10154107301510725_4184210105935008722_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 1167656_10154107301535725_35488906693152805_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Lead Foot 20708_930412543669861_6379718394852761152_n by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 1614547_10155180476065725_5731854771390955317_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 10887643_10155180527635725_6027201767301334188_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 10959915_10155180476105725_2355414841872100978_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr 10978698_10153170652964218_6005354514345003657_n by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Riding the drive way 10980711_10206122550527929_6248159333276915710_n by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr whitianga/coromandel 10556977_10155180476325725_4582149003031595397_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Makara, Wellington 10497948_10154307925465725_8087568625405516817_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr DGR 10648988_10154673369125725_2121658966448056428_o by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Well and truely time for a birthday Plus it went to man camp 2016/just a couple of month ago.........
