In english, they stop your diff hopping during a burnout... they used to be real big in the 70's-80's... you could see them (chrome) in front of the rear wheel with a rubber bit hitting the leaf-eye... my five minutes of paint (and 10 of waiting for fucking imageshack to work) These are the 80's style I stole this from somewhere but the dude makes sense:

usual.... yes... always? um... depends... Is it a bolt or nut? If bolt---- Look at the head of the bolt... real friggin close and just check there aint a little "L" on it anywhere if nut.... you might be able to see which way the thread turns

And thats where most people get confused about the "shortening shocks" bizzo...if they are doing the shaft, will make no difference if it's the body hitting the top mount... buy a shorter bodied shock.

there's some dude selling pre-cut tints to suit your car on tardme... start at about $78 a full car... nearly cheaper than buying 2 rolls and cutting it yourself (major hassle, especially with and old car that has felt around windows )

Like the wheels... I used to have a 59 ute over in oz... sold it when I found the rear quarters were chicken wire and bog still, got more than I paid for it. Had the same crap exhaust!
