Yeah but for $50 one can buy a complete triumph with all the gauges you need *
*so long as its an S or pi. And I have no idea on triumph values. Having owned 5 of them I have no need to go back to another.

They look quite cool. Shame they don't do them with just kph alone.

Apart from Bart's lawn of despair, would many "amateurs" buy a lot of petrol for lawnmowing
7km of pushing a mower at our place if I do all the lawns at once

I think the owner has joined up to oldschool so he'll like these bits of advice/info.

I think all of them were cvt?
This one is a manual. Has a short shift kit too by the feel of things. Nice gear shift anyway and the clutch was replaced just recently too.

Yes. As soon as I saw it when the bonnet was up I told him I want first dibs and for exactly k11 reasons. 187 bhp k11 would be quite handy.

A local marahau mate was looking for a cheap car or van and hannah found a listing for a primera wagon, manual, in blenheim for 3k. I know they have a strong following in Europe and a good reputation so sent him the link and he's ended up buying it today for $2800. He just popped in to show me...
and under the hood is this thing...
I think he's scored a bargain. I took it for a hoon. Rev limiter is at 8k. Fuck it goes well and the induction sounds cool as. Handles nice and so much room in the back.
I'll be doing a service on it. Anyone on here into these things and anything I should be looking for while its up on the hoist?

Yeah I think the subie box will be OK. Certainly much better gearing overall which will help rein in what I know will be a much thirstier engine than the datto A12. Not that I clock up huge mileage on any of our cars anyway.
Hopefully the subie gearshift will be nice because the imp box, tired 1st synchro aside, has a fantastic gearshift!

Yeah I'd thought about them ages ago. But I actually want to go electronic on the speedo. I'd have to start swapping innards...

Just added a vid build thread. This still makes me giggle and I'm so looking forwards to seeing reaction at shows in the future.
