I've done one car with those , I would think they are probably very similar quality wise to yellowspeed/xyz/d2 etc
Ie, for a road car, ok
Making sure the bump stop limits travel before the front upper ball joint hits the body is probably the main thing to look out for
I think with the risk of customs stinging me for duty I might as well pay the extra $ for BC Golds through Redline at this stage, way cheaper in Aus but after splitting into 2 parcels for Auspost and some drinks for @shrike to receive, package and send them kills the savings.
Looking at going with Mike Reid for cert, he's listed as Tauranga and Gisborne.
Would have bugged you Clint but "transporting" it late at night to Auckland, then bringing it back in the case of needing a recheck and fitting the dongle thing sounds like too much time and effort ha.- 2

Just shop talk, but the rear design of those means the amount of height adjustment you have is fuck all. I found this out when building my car with other brand stuff. I ended up swapping my short sleeves for longer ones for nothing, but I imagine they will be a this is it take it or leave it. Just a heads up anyway, my solution was easy, yours might not be if the height is exactly what you want out of the box.
Currently it's about 50mm off the ground with completely dead air suspension, I'd like it fairly low on coils but I'll take whatever height I can get just to get the car mobile again.
Sample pic from their website, that's on factory 18" wheels, I've got a lot wider 19s

@cletus any experience with TiTAN suspension/coilovers?
/Anything to look out for on them in regards to cert?
Seem to be pretty well regarded in Aus, but I'm 99% sure they are Malaysian rather than the Aussie made they seem to try to imply on the website. -
Ewww poor guy, I'd be pretty gutted if I thought I bought a Toyota and got a Chevrolet too.

There's a proper tool for getting them in after the screen is in.

The remaining pistons have proven to be high quality and free of defects, ideal for use in your next build
Needs to pop a second 1nz, then he'll hopefully have 6 proven pistons and rods for a custom V6 build.

Worst case I'm sure you can find someone with a lathe that likes cold beverages that can make a replacement.
The air bleeder fitting in the filler neck of my 1kz started life as a Honda CT90 axle lol

It's an M series, I vote keep them as it needs all the help it can get.

Pull and twist it out, press in a new one.
Have done it with surprisingly expensive Toyota thermostat/heater shit.

I'd be a little concerned that Tesla rear panels appear to be held on with nothing but hopes and dreams, but I guess that what you expect from Elon.
Hopes and dreams seems about right, Elmo sure isn't using the best welders

It needs a test too. I'm in the wairarapa so not much local. There used to be a paintball place down the road but they seem to have disappeared.
I use more co2 for beer than welding. Now I think about it, if I got a bunnings bottle (6kg) I could fill my 3.5kg bottle and about a dozen sodastream bottles that I use for the beer and then return the bunnings one and get my deposit back.
I don't think Bunnings do CO2?
Got anywhere that services fire extinguishers etc local? If you do that will likely do CO2 filling, used to get my airgun tanks filled at the local one

Hydrogen powered Nazi torpedo apparently
What do braps sound like underwater?
USSR attempt I thought, pretty sure I read they were trying to run it on peroxide.
Felix Wankel was a Nazi but was working on rotary valves etc for aircraft and torpedo engines during the war, rather than Doritos.

New motor didn't actually fit, the terminal box is too far back to fit into the gap for it in the lathe and it's a smaller frame so the feet didn't line up either.
So flipped the feet to the other side and put it in "upside down" and redrilled the motor plate.
Not a lot of clearance, but it doesn't matter if it's a millimeter or a meter, clearance is clearance!
Belt was a bit loose though at max tension, so swapped the belt to the next size down, which sorted out the tension and also had the added benefit of needing the motor plate to tilt up which gave even more gap between the bed and the terminal box.Put together a control box and wired it up before mounting the controls and the VFD properly
Stoked!
Adding a tachometer now, just working out the best spot to mount the Hall effect pickup that doesn't require a big hole in the castings or having the cable get in the way.

Thanks for posting those photos Bryan. Definitely the first time I've seen that setup.
Was a one year (1969) special from Ford NZ.

Happens here a lot too, normally rough 4x4s or Tesla's parked straddling 2 parks.
