im pretty sure that the mexicos have a more square/bigger flare on the front gaurds. also is there a difference between bubble flares and forest flares edit- RT answers all

so this morning i chassis blacked it basically only did the bits that i wouldnt be able to get at if all the gear was in there including in the wheel tubs behind where the shock would be it was a cunty job ended up with black shit all over me

the pile of bare metal bits grows ive inly got one leaf spring to do now then i will paint all the bits up i also slid underneath the car and scraped/wirebrushed the shit out of it for a good hour needless to say it was a mean workout it got all the looser shit off but the real dry hard crusty shit wasnt budging so i decided to leave it lol then i sprayed it hard out with rust proof and ill let it dry overnight and most probably paint it in chassis black paint tomorro

I strongly agree, i dropped out at the beginning of 3rd form and now wish i didn't yea im 5th form this year and ill be leaving next year

decided to pull the arse end out of the cortina today to try get it all cleaned up and eventually painted i got some of the bits cleaned up but still got plenty left to do lol i also got half the diff done but forgot to take a pic/cant be arsed also i got a prop shaft to fit my gear box the only problem is i have to make it fit the driveshaft in the pic i think i will probably cut both shafts off and then get a welder to weld the sierra shaft on [/img]

yea i thought the same thing ae mang it took quite a while to get them right because there naturally not a perfect curve/half circle they flat spot quite a bit that made it pretty tricky to get them lookin right but i think they came up good in the end im pretty happy with it...now that the primers dried ive gone and circled all the imperfections before the sun goes away i find that sunny weather shows up every thing real good

bodywork-this side is lookin pretty darn good now but the primer has shown up a couple of little spots that need to be sanded/filled nothing major tho im pretty happy with it

this morning i made up some brackets to fit my electric fan on and also fitted my brake booster to the firewall and it fits in there fuckin mint

yuh probably best off to get a certified welder onto it...the certifier will def want to see a welding ticket

bit of an update body work slowly but surely getting there also i had a ramflo but the bottom plate had just a circle in it so i cut it to shape and mounted it and i made up a couple of spacers for my gearbox cross member

man i had a look on the arrow wheels site they have some fuckin nice wheels on there i might have to give them a call see about pricing etc my geuss is that there real pricey, would give me something to save towards though i suppose as i have plenty to do before i get wheels haha etc
