hmm i reckon over the course of this year i get a mild cam, mild port and polish, flows and full exhaust, k&n filter and sierra efi. Then next year go for piggyback ecu, larger injectors, small turbo and an intercooler. reckon a 50hp boost would be nice. perhaps later strengthen it up and crank the boost go for 180 reliable hp.

just wondering what the best exhaust headers are for around 200, dont care for looks, looking for power, heard the coby ones were shit and cant find any other brand, all trademe shit is undbranded.

decided to clearcoat heres some pics of my doors, im pretty happy with them although a mosquito flew into the clear when i left. It managed to squirm its way through all the layers so now its remains are fossilised in my clear forever although i sanded most of it out.

You painted it yet i dont think your anywhere near me ( south auckland - waiuku) but i could give you advice on painting its not actually that hard to get a near new car finish, i painted my mk5 cortina and it came up mint.

no idea how it snapped off prob a stone lodged in the belt ripped it on the way past.

went to set the timing on my mk5 cortinas 2l pinto and found that the timing pointer has been munched or broken off can i get a new one or what?

prob race port and polish, lumpy ass cam, high compression skimmed head, twin like 50mm webbers lol janspeed exhaust, mean air intake, stroked and bored cylinder with high lift, 98 with octane booster in to take too over 100 octane lol, lightened flywheel, mean valve springs and rocker arms answeel as pistons and conrods then rev to 9000 maybe get that at the flywheel and some nos wouldnt be out of place but it would be expensive to do that n/a

my cortina is leaning to the left hand side what is causing this? any suggestions apart from the obvious. seem to be leaning more at rear but i have new shocks and springs in the rear and new shocks for the front with springs on the way. Oh and does anyone know how much for poly void bushes?

dont really think ill go hotwires i reckon the wheels look way to small 15 or 16" would be ideal i reckon.

yeah i wanted it lower but i got the kyb shocks full set for under half price cos the guy had had them for 6 months and given up his project without installing them. I now have to start thinking about mags, prob go with some 5 star ones or something but money tight at the mo lol.

standard height cos the shocks i got cheap as deal on were standard and if i got low springs then they would get rooted.

shit didnt see this thread, iyeah the colour looks intense but after a sand cut and polish looks much lighter i will try get more pic tomorow, i am accquiring my sounds at the moment i got a kenwood headdeck and some infinty 6000cs to install and the door cards are only partly retrimmed.

Started the respray and the colour i chose was not even the slightest bit close to what i got i chose a pale metallic green and ended up with a metallic lime green.
