fuel pump turned up. Also shouted myself a brand new , never used b1600 LSD. Got it fitted by the green bro's with new bearings, all up $930

also, new carter fuel pump is on its way, and a new set of heavy duty oil cooler lines since my old ones have split

Little bit of an update: Had a bit of a spending spree over the last couple of months. On the list were: New gauges Tacho (Van only had speedo and fuel gauge working) new KYB gas shocks all round New nolathanes all round new rear leafs (sent off to get reset) Sold the old wheels and got some second hand ROH blades Put 2 new falkens on. Now the van is at my local garage getting all the little things done to it before i go get a cert, but before that i have to tint it and get a drive shaft loop made up.

hey it dont matter that you wont be putting a rotary in, at least it will still be a mean summer cruiser. dont delay the new paint pics when you are done either

cant wait to see the paint. you should keep the bumper on but just shorten the irons that hold it on so that the bumper will sit in closer. heres a pic of my mates old 929 for a bit of motivation/inspiration

I agree that is why i didnt post it up for everyone to see, the vid could end up like the wrx one in the wrong hands..... the wrx=stupid/ignorrent mine=funny. Mine was filmed on a private road (but still illegal as the road was not for public) so there were no cars about.

pm sent just had to go into town to buy some more studs, but have found out the best studs to get are mitsi magna wagon studs, $90 for a set but worth it

lol, nah cos it was still on all 3 wheels and wasnt scraping, was hilarious though, it started crab walking and wasnt till i turned around that it dropped onto that back corner which bent all the U bolts

sheared all the studs off on tht side, they were trojan trailer studs

yeah my sentias greeny was $70 last april

Hey mate just a quick question. A friend of mine has a ma70 supra (7mgte) and its an auto, he wants to buy a 5m powered celica thats a manual and put the box , flywheel and clutch/pressure plate from the 5m onto the back of the 7m motor. Will the 7m fit a 5m box?

lol yeah sound is a neccesity yeah i took off quite slow but at the end of 1st gear it starts spinning and then al the way through 2nd till i had to button off at the intersection, could have keeped it going but not enough road left cheers everyone for your feedback, its good to get comments good or bad, better than none at all

I can tell you that there was not much skill involved, just loads of hours of thinking and preparation to avoid mucking it up and having to do it over again. Yeah i have the same problem aswell, not sure why it takes a while to load up. If someone knows a better place to host videos , please post up an address

took it for a tuning run, was a cop standing on the side of the road with a radar gun about 300 metres up, got done for 63km/h = $80 , no wof = $200 , no rego = $200 , then he found out it wasnt running the diesel motor so on went the greeny. mite take it to a shop next time, mite be cheeper than $480 for them to tune it lol

ive never heard them whine. i thought the whole twin idea was less slip etc? has one belt on , and it has got a nice little whine....dont know why tho, being just like normal

fired it up 2day!, didnt take long for it to fire into life, and once it warmed up i turned it off and now it barely takes a second to fire up. still havnt hooked up alternator cos i dont know which way the spades go on. went for a blat up the road with no seats in it, had to leave the door open so i could rest my back on the pillar, but it went nutty as. anyways stoked tht it starts off the key and goes quite hard. will put seats in tomorrow and go for a drive
