Picked up another shell on sunday, Its a 1981 MZ11, first of the soarers. The interior is brown, its has a 5MGE and a factory LSD! It came with loads of spares too. some speed star wheels i got for it

hey guys, My vl fuel pump has started making funny noises and now cuts out untill you give it a tap and it starts again, any ideas what it would be?

yea would love to de stroke it but have no idea whats involved, its got s sqaure bore to stroke so id imagine will be rev happy.. Id love to put ITBs on there too. Yea would love a set of watanabes! anyone?? hehe

Hah they have got to be the most basic sus set up, un hook the rear shock and the springs fall out hah, you could fill the front shocks with engine oil and find some stiffer springs, that would be a nice cheap option.. The rears are easy find some ford sierra wagon springs and some shorter shocks theres lots around

All i can say is the 1g-gte is underated, wit the stock turbos ts abit gutless but wack a t3/t4 on and it livens it right up. My gx61 will skid 3rd gear easy now.. and they do sound so awesome too alot nicer than the RB motor

might know of a gz71 chaser for parts... But yea awesome car, theres about 50,000 variations of the gx61. I love the style, the wheels turned out wicked aye! we so needa have a might sometime soon

Im pretty sure youll find there the same, i have a z10 soarer that has a 1gge and it shares the same chassis as the ma61, i read a guy made 1uz mounts for these and he said it didnt matter weather it was 1g or 5m. I might have a 5m-w bellhousing flywheel and clutch if you wanted to stick with that... But yea the 1ggte would be lighter and responds good to large turbo!
