Would slide throttles be a better DIY build?
I think moving to a diesel where no throttles are necessary would solve the issue.

I've always been impressed by Top Gear mileage challenge with the Jag Diesel. Maybe in a couple of years.

I think it's the curse of buying a modified car. Even if it all appears ridgy didgy there will be some shit wrong.
I didn't have so many issues, but fan wired backwards and headlights wired wrongly (no proper working high beams) on a legal car.

I have an auto darkening helmet but it has a battery, what is the battery for? It must be long dead.
It makes the dark work - usually recharged via a solar panel.
I've had to hack in a couple of C-cells on an old helmet.

That thing is ISF money.... lots of Lexus private sellers think their shit is worth heaps. Search those that have been listed for 6+ months and just go in with a lowball. People need cash these days.
He still had the dealer paperwork in the glovebox showing a the dealer asking price of 33k . Pretty cheeky to be asking over what he paid for it.
Have a things on for the next few weeks but will go GS hunting after that.

Been varnishing doors
And a couple of extra coats on the back half.
Along with a bit of screwing around
And started reassembly.

Yes on copper pipe, I also used it on alloy heater core pipes.
Out of interest, How much did they sell for?
Not that I'm going to sell them, the copper mine in the tunnels under the hospital has enough unused copper pipes to ensure our christmas parties are banging for many many years
$220.
Maybe I should list mine, got to be worth 1/2 that even without the shell pieces.

We still use this same set at work
On copper pipe?
Sale went hard on price.

Also, @AllTorque, system was still in japanese, seller reckoned the dealer could switch it over for $200. Likely or BS?

Did you drive it? IS lacks a bit of leg room. GS is far more gentlemanly.
Only from the LH seat.

Had a look at this today, seemed fine, but a bit high on the $$$, can get similar from a dealer for the same price.
Also not super-keen on black car

Why not the good old G-series Hiace/Hilux? Won't be a bolt-in but can be had in LSD, and fairly narrow ones are around
I forget the exact heritage of the one in my Morris project, but it's about 1650 across the outside of the wheel right now, with some random falcon(?) rims on there.
That with a bit of a tweak to the housing, but using stock axles from something 5-stud.
