Hey guys, anyone know where I might track one of these down, preferably online. trying to sort out a couple of minor elecrical probs. mainly my electric trunk release died, and when I switch the headlights to high beam. all the headlights just turn off (relay perhaps) not much of an auto sparky so any help with diagnosis or a diagram much appreciated. cheers in advance

Ya was clean as a whistle, no grease or silicon or anything, I think the 10 year old paint was a bit rooted. oh well done now... not the best job bul looks ok if you squint/ look from not too close haha. good enough for the girls we go with anyway. pics soon

Well that didn't go quite as well as planned. random patches.... like roughly one per panel. reacted somehow and all the paint cracked and lifted. so spent most of last nite scraping goo off the car. looks like I got it all now so will sand it back.... yet again. and have another go at getting some colour on there finally. car nearly got pushed onto road and set alight! I am very sure it is gonna look like a complete bucket of arse. but at this point in time i do not give a flying fuckcicle. pics of assorted fuckups to come

yellow, the bits that worked looked pretty mean actually. um... don't think i took any pics will see if the olds sneakily took some. I was too busy swearing at the stupid thing. think the paint was a bit past it. then I repainted and had a reaction between the 2 paints. put only in some spots so spent most of last night scraping gunge (aka black and yellow paint mush) off the thing. sanding again tonight and maybe paint..... again. will snap shots of the aftermath

Well, was correct. It did look rancid. mainly due to my inneptitude and not having enough paint. oh well shit happens. have now puchased some satin black and painted all the bits i could do, sills etc will sand back the abortion that is the yellow paint tomorrow when it is dry enough and spray the rest of the black. Initial observation... much less taxi cab and much more badassness. only problem being the black shows up my inept prep work even worse. oh well it is livable with and at this point in time I just want to get the sack on the road and out of my folks gagage..... the live bloody miles from my place and also they getting a bit miffed at havin afforementiones shitter in the garage for 3 months while their non rusty cars get rusty out in the rain. Ah the joy of having offspring. anyway pics when painted.

Yeah I guess so... all the guy sold me was the paint and primer. im sure if there was any hardener or anything he woulda whacked that on top. so 15% paint yeah? soorry me = complete no00b at this shit \

OK very brief update no pics car is in primer. will paint tomorrow and chuck up some pics gonna use the yellow paint I have sitting there. If it looks rancid will go to plan b. currently lovely shade of mustard. PIMPN!

HEY! so she is ready for the primer etc which means i have to start thinking about colour. bear in mind I am spraying it myself, and prepped it myself haha so far options include gloss black, matt black, charcoal grey/silver sorta colour or some of the world's brightest yellow (that i happen to have sitting at home coz i got it for another project.) Whatcha reckon? suggestions welcome

Ok so thought it best i do a wee update on the tank. rust is gone, holes (including door handles) gone and filled. most of bog sanded. got bored on weekend and sprayed a very very very dodgy matt black "guide coat" even though it is a long way from being ready to spray haha. so currently looking like sum kinda gangsta mad max contraption. wish i could just thrash it round like that.. i = teh road warrior stz everyone else on road = runnin screaming afraid etc... anyway pics they = crap taken at night!
