ok, if this has already been answered I apologize.. just point me at the link... or answer. I just bought a 4g63 equipped donor... has a 5 speed box in it but the tunnel has been cut to fit the shifter. am i right in assuming I need a 4g32 box to match up to the factory hole. if not is there a box I can bolt up that will match the factory shifter hole.. would like to keep all the factory trim etc if possible so need the right length box... cheers

Turns out the front right strut in the new lancer is a bit banana shaped... liveable with for the time being but will sort eventually... are the ex struts same deal/bolt straight up or na? does anyone have a spare strut for sale perhaps to fit my pimpn orange beast? (78 lancer for those who dunno)

Thanks all, yeah is in desperate need of falling about a foot closer to earth. still a couple of minor bits to do before revin. put seatbelts in back. fix high beam...... thats about it really. still drives nice but no doubt they will find a pile of shit for me to fix. as for the engine i aint sayin shit till i do a bit more digging i doubt any of you will be impressed haha don't worry though will still be toyota and either way i doubt it will fit... too big me thinks.

Oh and all of a sudden the "charge" light on the dash has come on and stay on... have driven it a bit and still goes and starts etc... no voltmeter to check the alternator... alternator problem?????????

Hey ... so the crown has working lowbeam but when you switch to high beam all the lights go out (does come up with headlight warning light on dash) No it isn't the bulbs. I assume this would be a relay problem...... problem is I can't find the relay.. presume it would be up under the dash with all the others that i can find ie wipers, indicators, central locking etc.. all help appreciated

Well she is more or less back together now. will post pics when i get em off the camera. for the time being i will leave standard wheels and hubcaps. will get it lowered when finance allows and after revinning (the less hassle the better) so yuh. yeah was gutted with the paint, primer was awesome, tidy, straight (well pretty bloody good for a 1st attempt) shame it went a bit pearshape oh well lesson learnt haha
