ok, a quick update... i'll be putting in a 2T-B instead of the mighty 4K i had put in earlier this year. i'll have it mated up to a T50 box. driveshaft and rear end will remain the same for now, and the interiour will still be a surprise

dont know... just use gasket paper that can handle the heat of an exhaust (not sure if there is such a thing... dont know how much normal gaskets can handle...) and use that... with gasket goo

i had a FWD starlet with a 2E (1300) that let of more smoke than that! and it only had 1 wheel spinning

my mates mate has one in a starlet, so it can be done. but as i said, watch the radiator

if you wanna fit an sr20, you'll have to probably mount the radiator in front of the car because i dont think you'll have enough room. this alone stuffs up any plans fro an intercooler! still do-able but more of a hassle

never mind these guys, find some series 3 RX7 hubs and calipers, same stud pattern and will fit in 13's i think series 5 will fit in 15's... not too sure though

yeah, all it does is let water through your radiator before its up to temperature. all a thermostat does is make sure the water only goes around the block, not the radiator untill your engine is hot (measured by water temp) the hotter the water gets, the further the thermostat opens. when it opens it lets water run through your radiator to be cooled, thus keeping your engine at optimum temperature. for people that didnt know, a thermostat is just a valve

fibre glassing isnt hard, well, its do-able. you could give it a go yourself? the fibre glassing that is. just make a nice mould out of foam or something and make 4 flares that are identical. or make 2 moulds, back and front... dont know about the cutting etc.. but about the cert, not 100% but there is a site, ask WDE BDY , but my front guards aren't considdered structural and can do anythingt i like with them (including giant rust holes) ring around.

that depends on if it is the guage, wires or sensor... sensor or guage should be as simple as ringing a wrecker, getting a "new" one and screwing it in. Wire would be a pain, but it seldom is the wire

2 best simplest things are letting everything flow better, eg exhaust (NOT TOO BIG OR LOUD!) carb and filter of some sort... i'm not into eskies but thats the general thing for all cars my 2c
