  4. Ok, I knew there was a page here. I got sick of waiting and became inspired to attack my rust myself. I have metal based bog, disk for drill, spray primer and spray on paint. I've heard you have to let the rust dry completely before taking it off? Is rust kill and etch primer essential? I'm also knew to this and need help. Cheers
  5. That utes insane, neva knew that they existed but thats awesome, and yeah TOYOTA ALL THE WAY!
  6. Ok jacked the car up and the porblem(which i expected from last time) is the stud are different lengths. 2 are 21-22mm ands the other 2 are 16-17mm on the passenger side. Drivers side has 1 shorter stud. So looks like 3 longer studs. The heads of the short studs have been whacked off somehow has this happened to anybody else?
  7. I'll try tomorrow and see what happens
  8. And the 40mm is the all up length and doesnt take into account the width of the hub
  9. 19mm, but with a 3mm curve so prob 16mm
  10. I've been priced at $8.60 for 1 70mm stud at davie motors. And the tyres are 205/60/13's
  11. Yep mate tried the shank/lug nuts. They sit flush and dont hit the strut but tomorrow I'm guna try again, should I get any measurements for you guys to use? The studs are 40mm long.
  12. Hi ive got an 82 dx sedan that i've bought 13x7 cheviot wheels for(similar to spitfires). They fit on the rear sweet but dont have any thread to work with on the front. People have said they should fit if they're RWd mags(can't see this type of mag being front wheel), I reckon I'll need longer studs but I thought I see what you guys( and girls) think. Cheers
  13. Nah Its standard hight right now. MUzzie could be keen, kp's and ke70s have the same struts? how much do u reckon they'd lower it by? I'd like 2.5-3 inches off probably.
  14. Agreed, nice similie Doesnt have to necessarily be compressed springs tho, just looking for a legit cheap way to lower my car. You guys must have some hook-ups?
  15. Yea thats for 4 springs. Well I'v been looking for springs and I cant find them for under snells price.
  16. Hey I'm trying to find places that compresse springs cheap. Any places you know of? Snells said $240. Oh and I have a DX sedan with coils allround.
  17. Im having the same problam on my dx, I'v got 13*7 mags. How much did you pick these shank style nuts for.
