Nah cause the paint under the clear has to be smooth and fresh. Lots of clear is good. means you can cut it back once a year for a few years and itll still look good.

Unless you are getting a pro to do a cashie it will be hard to find a shop that will paint over your primmer and prep. I supose this is because they cannot gaurentee their work if you have preped it. Could have dodge bog over huge holes. Just my experence tho.

I got a panel beater to slice the gaurd and add metal cause i found normal rolling wasnt enough. Thats gay mk1 front gaurds tho

Yeah id agree with that. I would also recomend taking the glass out. One thing i didnt do that i now wish i did. Means that if you want to replace seals at a later date the paint could chip of when removing old seals.

Oh and that stuff was VHT like jerm said, Im not sure how durable it is as I havnt had the dash back in the car yet.

does it say how long lasting it is? wonder if seats would be an option...wouldnt want it rubbing off also digging that paint. with the sr it will be car show material no doubt about it. oh, and fast. Hopefully drag material

Um just brought a mint as red one of trade me. No one else bid (maybe because it was red) and i got it for $60 or sumthing. Brought some expensive viynl spray from repco and sprayed it black. Would never tell the differance. It also looks all new and glossy now. Otherwise for about $450 you can get one on your doorstep here from UK. bugger that though.

Yeah i saw that on your 69 posted up. Mine didnt have that thingie. I had a crash pad but it was rooted so i brought a new one. Haha you guys wouldnt want to see interior yet. Has no carpet, hoodlining rough and no back seats. Plus the gearbox tunnel had to be cut for the type9 sierra box so looks rough. I have type-r Civic seats in it that look good tho and a dope steeringwheel. Have all "smith" gauges, sounds rear type-r seats and stuff to complete but waiting untill the sr conversion is underway to install.

Id be real carefull cause you dont want it to hydraulic. If its an expensive build/engine I would almost be tempted to take the head off.
