hey i used a mr2b to register my 1977 honda ct, and filled the form out as such - however i just noticed the rego sticker says 2020 honda ct
did the lady enter this in or can i re-do it again (next rego time) and request it to be 1977?

Hey there, we have 4 spare beds in our room at waikeremoana, any takers?
What is your situation @rumrum? if your out we will look into squeezing into one vehicle/trailer.

Tbh I don’t know why it is like this/it doesn’t make sense. it should only send excess power generation out as heat, (not like a car alternator regulator that actually does warren g style regulating) it should be happy to output max power as it has to do less work. Weird but works so meh

Are you using the china $2 rectifier/regulator box? I could only get about 1amp of output, swapped to a Smokeysue spare rec/reg unit and Now get *just* enough output to run a led headlight and a filament taillight bulb. (Everything is dc on this bike)
without a battery in circuit it would only output about 8v, unsure what’s going on there but easily fixed by installing a battery)

Making enough volts to charge a battery on a yx140? Currently getting around 9v max out of a 4 wire voltage reg with all of the revs
Currently wired Yellow and white wires off the stator into the regulator and earth/positive out to the battery
Is that wired right or am I missing something? Iv seen mention of the stator needing to be earthed possibly?
@sentra did you sort getting good voltage out of your lifan?
Oh boy
I’ll write something later

The bag controls in my truck allow you to take the piss with drawbar weight right up until the safety Override drains them and won’t pump them back up and you have to drag 200 tons of scoria home with the jockey wheel mount grinding along the road / get stuck on the dump weighbridge transition.
but the temptation to make it in one trip is very strong

buying a trailer

a workmate has one from ultra trailers, the trailer itself is nice but man in what was one of the rougher things ive seen - the hubs had been machined, then hot dip galved and then the bearings smooshed into the galv. they then failed very quickly from galv flake ingress (and no longer being round!)
but you can just chuck new hubs & stubs on so no big deal.
