Not good at all Alan lol. Mostly assembled now, however I pulled the sump off to find the head missing from one of the head bolts and it's not there. Doh. So now I'm at a standstill. Tempted to pull motor out and give it a strip down and freshen up and possibly swap the rods out for bigger items.

Yep injectors were good to go, the limiting factor would have been the map sensor, which was the same issue I had on the 4e at 21psi haha. Was even good timing there still!

Couldn't say, after that run when it was idling the lower hose blew off (due to rad cap not opening) he then tested with overflow bottle slowly running it up and 6000rpm it started to push water through.

I am yet to see a manual LS400. Would be badass/just shift kit the A340 and T70 it.

Too close for permanent wideband installation to last really. Would probably be ok for bits of tuning here and there, but since I'm not borrowing the wideband I'd rather install it and leave it in there. Piece of mind to pop the bung in downstream a little further away from heat I think, have read a lot of comments on people having put wideband oxy's within 5" of turbo and having them fried under 6 months.

Dial timing till rod exits from block, then back it off a couple of degrees?

Thanks Bromos. Wideband wired up, getting sensor bung welded in tomorrow then it should be honky dory. Also need to get it tuned asap, waiting to hear back on Speedtech pricing. Would make it easy being in Wellington and certainly well known for extracting the ponies. Hmm...

I think the power is a shock to the speedo, it's used to creeping up to speed via 1.0l carby power not 1.5 boost spec.

Yeah a lot nicer having lsd! Picked out the Injector drive wires Smashed in some resistors And tucked it all away again Not pictured, the 560cc Evo injectors I have installed which required the above resistors. Just got to get some square type injector plugs (holler out if someone has 4!) wired in then hopefully dyno next Friday and I'll be Taupo ready!

I just wound the pedal rod out a couple of turns and it's centered the engagement point a lot nicer.

I was going to clean the arches but then put it in the too hard basket haha. Spray pattern was a little weird but overall ok. Think on Kris's suggestion I'm going to have it tuned on Evo injectors just to be sure.

Yeah I'm not getting overly serious so R888's are a no go for the time being. I did however put my new rotors on today, cheap courtesy of Nick at North Shore Toyota! And had my injectors ultrasonically cleaned, new washers/seals, replaced tips etc. Bling bling. Adjusted the clutch pedal so it doesn't engage 1mm off the floor now too. Much nicer. Got to bed these rotors in tomorrow then new pads and fluid over the weekend and see if I can get it up to Palmy for dyno next week!

Smartass! Nah coilovers are out cause I wanted to get spring rates tested. Have new slotted/dimple drilled rotors and pads coming this week to go in with a DOT 5.1 flush. Injectors are out being tested and cleaned ready to get up to Speedworks and have some tooooning done. Oh and finding some drums to have machined, new pads and cylinders for rear too. Getting my trackday prep on basically.
