  2. No matte is matte... and flat is... well flatter.. you knwo what i mean?... like smooth not rough liek matte black is... haha like think of house paint... usually not gloss... but you wouldn't call it matte would you?

    BCF2 is apparently a very good cam.. i'm told its a very old profile so its tried and true i spose... will go into a standard engine and make good improvement i am told. and it will work with 1300 pistons without mods as well... If i had rebuilt the bottom of my engine i probably would have used this cam with +60 oversized 1300 pistons... should go hard as

    Stay with the standard 1600/2000 one... especially if you hacve a standard carb... and they are cheap you can always change it later 32/36 weber
  5. yeah?...... which means the whole engine rotates the opposite... so mated to a RWD g/b it would probably give you 5 reverse gears:D
  6. No lots of engines fire in all different orders... I have heard that they spin backwards eo... but it could well have been from zep .... so i don't know.. wouldn't be suprised though.. i think they do

    Yeah i found a re grind was around 80-120..... but that grind i got was to lumpy for a regrind so i had to get a billet.. was about 320? i think it was done by Franklin Cam services.. meant to be the best around and yes definantly new followers...

    Umm mine is a crowe grind.. 280" Duration and 400 thou valve lift on a cutom billet .. works very well.... almost the drives like a standard enginemaybe a bit more revs when taking off with load or launching.... other than that its sweet.... Gotta be careful have you got standard pistons? because i think if you are using 1300 pistons you may have problems with them hitting the valves with that grind. Yeah the 32/36 doe sok.... but i want sideys but can't be bothered moving my brake booster...

    When the secondary throte opens depends on your carb like on a nomarl 32/36 DGV it is mechanical depending on how far you press the throttle.. and one DCOE carbs they both open at the same time and rate...

    Nah i think it is when you change from 1st to second when your booting it, it will light up the wheels... if you got enough power
  13. Yeah i i would think you can just get those adjustable strut tops.... thenyou can accurately change the camber... i don't see why there would be a problem... I have heard of camber pins as well not sure how they work though...

    so is this difficult to set up? you need to move the sway bar mounts forward and use harder bushes or nolathanes? which will increase the castor.. move the front wheels forward slightly... i have flared guards but its pretty low and only just clears... What do you reckon about strut braces? the ones the go over the engine? i thought about getting one but SAS qouted me $250! Cheers Jeremy

    Eddie i have a question... i have just put a 1600 with a lumpy cam ported head and better valve springs into my car which was a 1300 manual... it has a standard diff in it which is a 4. something i think... it goes well but 1st seems pretty pitiful and revs out quickly and doesn't pull as hard as i think it should.. the rest of the gears are good... I have a 3.54 rear end from an auto 1600 ghia.. do you think i should put the diff into my car? Cheers Jeremy

    Nah it is the resin filled version... was reccomended by the guy at segidans. seems to be pretty good though.

    Yes i have put those tints on many times... and you can get it too look good with a bit of prcatice. Soapy water and something to sqeugy it i use credit cards wrapped in paper towels... tuck the bottem under the seal on the top of the door otherwise it can peel up when you wind it down.
  25. Well actually my girlfriend wheres heels so much she actually finds normal shoes uncomfortable!... she climbed the great wall in heels...
