I'm not sure what 32DFM is it might be the same but most of the late weber carbs on eskies are 32/36 DGAVs ... The 28/36 is definantly the better carb i have been told alot more tunable etc even though it is smaller. they are quite rare also
Yeah why didn't you just leave the accelerator cable in that was there on the 1300?... thats what i did.. then just use the mount that fits the weber inlet. works a treat
Yeah me and the guy that heled me build my engine toyed with the idea of flat topped pistons with a chambered head but would haev to run av gas.. wasn't to keen on that
Only the very early 1600 Xflows have chambered heads.. most are flat, with bigger valves, GT cam grind and as said before better followers... the ghia ones are the same. and yeah i think gt's had weber carbs and the exhaust manis are extractors.
Not the clutch.. all the clutch does is disengage the engine with the g/b and it wouldn't matter what gear you are trying to select it is always the same..... and even when it is engaged you can still move thegearstick into allof the gears without to much effort... sounds like something wiwerd happened in your gb....
Nah he's got a bit on.. me and willy already did it... a while back... but seriously i think cut springs ride alot better than compressed ones.. and if the are continuously captive i believe they are legal...
Ohhhhh so the intercooler could fit in front...
Rims are fucking mint leon but man it seriously looks jacked aye chuck those old springs back in was dark but the offset looks good could go down another inch or 1.5 ... back to how it was
Yeah those are mean, i have seen seats like this without the headrest in black leather.. real mean.. try the burton site as well prices and shipping might be a bit steep though.
A rack and pinion setup in simple terms is like a gear and a shaft with teeth cut into it... so to make a quick rack you just need a taller ratio. So the ratio between the turning of the wheel and how far the rack moves horizontally is larger than normal. but any friction on the wheels will be increased by the same ratio.
Get what i mean?
I think thats rigt anywyas.
