Sand crack is the best crack. Got a new engine for the Chaly for this ride. Also a shit load of random parts too. Can’t wait to put them all on, then crash on gravel and ruin them immediately.

My Chaly has 3.50s on it as is. The centre stand rubs the chain with standard shocks though so I’ve ordered another pair to sort that out. Though this probably explains why I haven’t front guard. Just ordered 3.50x10 white walls, and a front guard... so I guess this is where I see if it all actually fits.

I booked a night at Te Araroa for @Shakotom and @GuyWithAviators. If we end up changing the location I can just cancel it.

Okay so Honda Pal appeared for $200 so why not. Always wanted a '90s smoker and the shape of these is lush. Body work is okay. Engine is haggard. Will have a proper gander tomorrow and see if any life can be had from this epic acquisition. With any luck we'll be skidding away. Oh, got another FZ trans so I'll be taking that to pieces this weekend too. Imagine 2 bikes running at once? What a dream.

@Shakotom's Sparkly FA50 goes hard for what it is. On dirt tyres. On public roads.

If enough people think I should, then I shall do it on a FA50. 600km is chump change.

Had all of the funs. About 30 turned out and the rain held off till after the ride was over. Heaps as more photos on the Moped NZ Facebook page.

Probably gonna need to take second dibs on the spare bike with my current luck. Though if I can't put something together by then, I deserve to ride in the trailer. Trying to source a 3 wheeled dream at the moment. Stay tuned.
