  1. Wheels back off, exhaust out, fuel tank out and up on pallets ready to be jacked/forklifted around for cleaning and painting and fabricating etc.
  2. Old girl finally shifted to its new temporary home in the shed at work. Ready for some serious work.
  3. Bit of a lull between posts, however.... It begins (the rebuild that is). Head currently back with Glen for the skim after finally timing it up to check valve to piston and compression. Taking 1.5 mm off it to raise compression. Backed out like a coward on 12.5:1 compression and am now aim for 11.5:1, at least for now . Computer and intake manifold to go as well as some paint and wires. Shifting house next week so body needs to move. So here is the beginnings of the sub-frame being refitted to get her rolling. Will be coming back apart once safely in the workshop.
  4. Nice!, I need to learn how to do this!
  5. Where did you get the steelies done? I am hoping to do the exact same thing to mine.
  6. I have no idea what it is going to take at this point, i am completely winging it buying this diff. I will let you know if the axles fit or anything easy like that but im expecting it to require quite alot of customization.
  7. Sorry about the potato grade photos, lens on phone camera is smashed so this is the best I can capture for now.
  8. Created a makeshift paint booth and gave some love to the sub-frame and various steering components. Looking much better. Getting hyped for the rebuild!
  9. Yeah i haven't found any LSD that will drop into the stock, smaller housing. currently tossing up between cutting, shutting and welding axles and housing to create a mix up or simply using the complete l200 axle and running 6 stud on the rear.
  10. I was hoping this would be the case but it is not so. You may be able to tell in the photo, probably not due to crappy quality but the l200 diff is alot bigger. Wont even come close.
  11. Purchased an L200 LSD diff, time for some fun trying to mock up this bad boy.
  12. Bit'O Nolathane to tickle up the ride quality and steering lag.
  13. The seats are back from being reupholstered, Should fit great in chocolate brown. Need to get carpet sorted now then re-assembly shall begin!
  14. Sweet Sigma man, wishing mine had the chrome bumpers after seeing this.
  15. Dope!! Another Sigma loving sicko. Looking forward to seeing how she turns out as this is pretty similar to my own one shape wise.
  16. Painted my door cards tonight, here is a comparison between the cards before and after. Sorry about the quality, also the lighting makes it look patchy, they look much nicer in real life. Still a vast improvement though.
  17. Decided to rebuild this wee fellow before I paint it. Did not realize that it would be full of needle rollers. Managed to retrieve them all from the floor and rebuild it without saying any bad words. Don't have any photos but the rest of the steering assembly and sub frame is coming along nicely with everything cleaned and undercoated, ready for paint.
  18. Realized my higher compression chamber shape was interfering with my pistons which just would not do at all. Currently going through the process of milling down the top of each piston. photo showing before and after of pistons 2 and 3.
  19. Shot of the interior. New carpet to go in soon. Seats being upholstered currently.
  20. Shot if the interior. New carpet to go in soon. Seats being upholstered currently.
  21. Not much of an update, Just a couple of photos of the car as she currently sits. Almost completely stripped out. Been busy stripping and cleaning parts. Will hopefully get a few updates going soon as reassembly finally begins.
  22. Well, this happened last night. So now I have two. The wagon will be a daily for now and most likely parts in the future. Does anyone out there know where there might be a spare wagon tail door? this one is pretty rough.
  23. That would be great. Ill flick you a message with my phone number to make it easier. What vehicle were you planning to put it in?
  24. Mean!, I've been really struggling to find a suitable one for parts. I would be super keen, mostly on annoying little pieces of trim like window wider handles and door lock knobs if anyone is heading out there with a spare container one day pretty please
