  1. Spotted this on eBay, may be relevant or interesting. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121990641229
  2. Just going from memory here, but some earlier CXs have high and low speed ignition ciruits. Sounds like one is failing. Not sure if the Ignitec units are still around, likely superseded by now, but is fully tunable after market system. Wasn't cheap, and earlier bikes require bodging or later spec stator.
  3. You still need the Arduino board. They can be had from Trademe, AliExpress, eBay and so on. It looks like PCBs are a bit scarce right now, so it's a bit of a waiting game.
  4. Just signed up on the Speeduino forums, looks too good to not investigate for when Fiat twincam goes into Lada wagon.
  5. Or your kids could hack in via Bluetooth when they think you're driving too slowly.
  6. Quick question for Ladaspeed. Did you have to cut a notch for the 2nd swaybar? I've got one tucked away to add, and rear bars seem cheap enough ex russia, just looking for a few clues from those who done stuff before. Thanks.
  7. Have you had a chat with the folks at Makerspace in Welly? Sounds like a similar idea, just a different application.
  8. Hehe, I will when I get started, but that'll be a way off yet. I'm just going to start buying bits and pieces here and there, slowly fill a box with parts I want to use. Toying with the idea of 82mm pistons for 1700cc as well, almost a shame not to if in the engine that far. http://www.lada.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11466&sid=ba74726c367d239cce0170abe56f76de
  9. I've favourited the same engine mods thread for 'one day, maybe'. The bugger with RHD cars is getting twin carbs to clear the brake system. There were some downdraft manifolds available in the UK, but no idea how often they're available 2nd hand. I know fabbing a manifold is well beyond me, but the idea of a Megasquirt and ITBs has a certain appeal with the above mods. +1 for VFTS kit, a great addition.
