Oh man
We chose that date cos it was bang on halfway between whagnats, and Old school nats. (#watsgnats?)
The weather is still decent, but it's far enough Into the year that it doesnt clash with summer events.
Fair nuff!

You have plans a year out?
For this one yeah, might be on a honeymoon haha (plans for that not confirmed but it's likely)

Just tighten that front axle and its good to go
Fixed that on the day lol. Nah I need to sort carb issues, and my air filter split on the bottom, could explain why it died every time I went through water on the last leg of the final day, and a few other things to address.

Come down for a Peninsula ride @Chunky_t.
I could be keen - probably need to give my scoot a birthday first

tbh this ride made me want an actual dual sport bike for more epic bike adventures.

*everyone who was there goes outside to check their bikes for damage.......
I gave mine a bit of a look over when I unloaded it. It had a small list of problems;
-broke the bottom of my leg shield
-both my headlight and tail light don’t work anymore
-headlight came loose
-legshield mount bolt unwound itself and fell off
-air filter split and fell off
-right foot peg rubber is toast
and the best one yet;
my front wheel nearly fell off cause the axle but unwound itself and I rode about 30km with a front wheel flopping around in my forks

Very very very similar league when it comes to the small 150's. Probably built in factories next door to each other.
Probably built in the same one even haha

Those aprilias look pretty cool and are cheap! I had a brief look at them too, mostly wondering if the front end off one of those will fit a cb125 lol

Fuck that, anything bigger than 12” wheels for me next time. Or better suspension.
I vote a step thru scooter from the 70’s next time

I’ve got some grouse shots of a scooter in places it really doesn’t belong if that’s any use for any of that too.

Also thanks @Whoopeecock for letting me have a hoon on your monkey (don’t say that sentence out loud if you don’t want any sideways looks), they’re a pretty sweet rig and my only regret was not testing out the abs haha.

I remembered drifting off to sleep last night that I have a concrete Bolster chisel in the work ute which is half broken.
The percussion end indeed resembles the anoose of this rides participants.....
Perfect!

Who’s making the cold chisel award trophy for next year @RUNAMUCK
should be for the least practical bike on the ride, my lower back is telling me it might have been me this time

The back up vehicle will be carrying a 20ltr of gas too. But it might be a long wait.
The last of the details have been hammered out. 5he informational email will be sent to everyone fairly soon.
Their should be enough Koha for a mean roadside bbq feed. (Maybe day two too)
Yeah I’d just fill up when we all stop for lunch, that should have me well covered for fuel for the day.

What's the plan for baffles? There's a video of a guy with an old Honda CL77 on youtube with pipes like that and he used essentially a washer (with the hole in the middle still) that you could turn either vertical to baffle, and horizontal for the noise
