I say you should stick with the flat deck for maximum usefulness. Also someone was thinking pretty hard when they made that fuel filler extension. It's brilliant. Should be a standard feature.

Can't complain about 24.75 mpg in a thing with all the aerodynamic features of a loaf of bread with the end sawn off crooked. It's not vastly dissimilar to what I'm getting from my petrol Falcon in daily use.
If you were nearby I'd find a place to hide that horrible green thing. Might be fun for the children to play with. Five speed column change? Teach them right, right from the start.

Just give it a shot and see if they notice. If it is well done they probably won't.

Would a plumber's croxing tool work the same? It should if you could find a big enough size.

Has to be better than Planes. That was complete crap. My children didn't believe that The Fabulous Hudson Hornet was real until I showed them proof.

Bump stops got a good workout on some of those roads this trip, there was a few bum biting the seat moments haha poor igor in the back with no belt to hold him in his seat
Sure did. Just as well I wasn't driving. Might have got a bit loose on the unsealed bit. (Probably not in someone else's car.)
A good day out all the same.
Post merge can eat a dick.

I sometimes use a brace with a twist bit to drill steel thereby ensuring a slow speed that will not burn out the bit. Did a bit of track laying on a museum railway once too. We drilled the fishplate bolt holes with the same hand tool technology that would have been used in the 19th century. Pretty sure the tools we were using were older than all of us including the retired guy who knew what to do.

My EA wags would be ideal. Even has one different coloured door. Shame it's almost at the other end of the country.

That'd be right. Not meant to resharpen tools nowadays. Bastards expect you to buy new stuff every time something gets blunt.

Can you split the nut with the cold chisel?

Why would you even roll with a 25 profile? Might as well just brush a bit of rubberised paint onto the rims.

I'm in for Saturday. Where should I meet you @Toddy415? And what time?

That might work. Will have to check times of other things on for Saturday morning.

Might have to bring the red car 'cause red cars are faster! (Or at least able to do the open road speed limit.....)
My wife and I both have red cars but hers only goes faster when I drive it.

Can't find it now.

Came across a thread on RetroRides where someone was putting a 1uz into a Triumph Stag. Is that likely to be of any use to you?

I hope jumping is a euphemism in that sentence Russell.
