  1. This has probably been asked before but if you have a car certified for mods and the rego dies, when you get it re registered do you have to get cert done again or what's the story?
  2. How can you get them for only price +$30 shipping? Says 120nzd for shipping on the page. If not they look very nice condition and i would play that price plus 30 for them. I have the same ones, bought them of orion. They sound nice too.

  8. Cheers Ed! Was very surprised with how good they sound, being such old speakers and all, plenty loud too.
  9. Current springs already make it pretty much sit on bump stops. If I was to go lower without coilovers would have to get another set of bump stops to cut down. But first I'm saving for some wheels to go on this!
  10. Today I picked up some pioneer ts-x8's off Ed and chucked them in, they look much better than your average 6x9s and sound mint so I'm stoked! Also got my headunit mounted and working properly, would prefer something more old school but at least the backlighting matches the dash and buttons. Need to take the Autotechnica horn button off and put my Nardi one on. If I can find it.. Found the toolkit from when this was new amongst a pile of parts I got with the car, doesn't look like anything in it has ever been used. Comes with lots of little random/cool things like a pop up wheel chock. Chucked these blanket/drape/whatevers onto the back seats as the fabric has a few rips to stop them getting worse. Will do for now until I can find some better cond seats or get these ones recovered Once again I'm sorry for the horrible pic quality, tis all off my iphone.   11. No worries dude, sucks about the motor! I was pissed when the rebuilt motor on my chevette fucked out after a thousand k's but yours looks a bit worse, hope you can get it running again soon
  12. Rad, awesome colour! One of my mates has a tt141 wagon that he desperately needs a boot hatch for. Don't suppose you have a source for parts for these?

Engine swap wont be for a while yet, will either go 4age or something similar. love the beams motor in yours but looks like alot more work than the 4age?I mainly just want coilovers so i can adjust the height on the go, e.g have it slammed all the time but raise it up for long trips ect. more just a looks thing
  14. Yeah been looking at a few prices. Can those weld on sleeves be certified easily? Would prefer something body adjustable but if its alot cheaper then that would be the go
  15. The 86 coilovers and gx71 struts seem to be the most common way to do coilovers for the front in the ke70s. What are you running in the back? I need to have a read through your build thread again haha
  16. Finally got a wof this morning. Now i'm just gunna drive it as it is and tidy up little things. Saving up to get some nice wheels and coilovers, not sure if i should go custom made or get some ae86 ones and adapt them. If anyone has any advice or knowledge they wanna share lemme know in the discussion thread what the best thing to do for these is, suspension wise.   17. Looks good man! love the mk2's. Yeah they are, kind of going for an original look at the moment with a few subtle things. Won't be putting the lip on til i've got wheels sorted though, are you running coilovers in yours?
  18. lately i've just been getting this up to wof spec so i can drive it round without having to worry. Chucked some short shocks in it all round as the old ones were leaking, new rack end, welded up some rust in the crossmember, replaced the tail lights with what i think are the japanese spec ones (not sure, maybe someone can tell me difference). got some factory fender mirrors for it so gunna chuck those and and maybe this front lip i've got sitting in the garage. got my lil bro holding it to see how its gunna look, it fits good, just not sure what colour to paint it if i put it on.
