If I go R16 x 8 then a 305/70-16 will be it. There is a zero offset available in that size.
16” rims give some more options with 255/85 and 285/75 both being around 33” tall but a bit skinnier

Hi guys, I have a TD27T D21 Terrano. Not the most powerfull diesel on the market but it gets us by.
Just wondering if its worth getting a boost tap and guage and throwing a few more pounds at it as ill be doing a bit more towing from now on with it. Its auto so ill do the trans cooler aswell. Recently had the fuel pump rebuilt and its better than it was (was leaking internally and only ran with a 12V aux pump). Intercooler worth doing?
Any help or advice much appreciated.
Definitely worth fitting a boost gauge and egt gauge and upping the boost and fueling, can probably give it a little bit more timing advance too, need a dti gauge and adapter to set it correctly. An exhaust upgrade will make a noticeable difference, most of the jap diesels have pretty small exhausts

Would be keen to hit this up in a few weeks

Sweet, will get it booked in then, just didn't want to find it was restrictive for the engine. You could be right about the 3" bender, would make sense. If I had the space i'd do it from bends like you mention. I don't think the dmax would even fit in the garage space I have to use.
Thanks.
I wouldnt bother making one when you can buy them off the shelf for a decent price, by the time you buy the bends, pipe, flexi and muffler its not worth the time it takes to make one

Had the xr baja out on farm duty this weekend, does pretty good but needs gearing down and some better tyres, those dunlop d606 are great on the rd and gravel but are no good in the boggy clay

I suspect that would be at the limit of a belt drive setup due to belt stretch, maybe a rack setup... Why do you want it so big?
It would be for building some more aluminum boats, standard size sheet. I've done a lot of profile cutting work and I currently work servicing cnc plasmas and lasers so have a fair idea of what's needed, just haven't had much to do with routers

Will be interested to see what you have, Ive sort of interested to build a machine that can take a 1830x6100 sheet

That ct185 I had had one and thought it would have been better on the front brake to lock it on on hills
CT200 look like a farmers wet dream, wonder why they stopped making them
