Awesome to see this, I know your brother guessing you in nelson as well? Would love to come see this ute. I'm bagging and putting 12a in my b1600 at moment I brought another one for the cab and turns out its a 1500 so am going to have to rub it but quite like the look of the 1500 front, also wondering if you have your 1500 front end parts still since you used the 1600 cab?

BIG change of plan. you are all going to hate me for this but heres what im doing. sr is coming out of the black ex and into the white gsr one,this saves me swapping everything from the white one to the green one and the white one also has the hydrolic clutch set up. Some knoba has cut the corners off the chassis right up the front at the end so i will have to remake that also there is a bit of rust around windscreen i will need to fix. The white on has good paint and the black one was doen with a home job so thats one of the reasons im swapping car.

so this is how the engine now sits with gearbox and engine mounted. AND THEN! look what i picked up its a 1981 1800gsr ex lancer factory turbo im going to be getting parts off this, diff,brakes,interior, ect BUT let me know if you are keen on engine package.

my mate owns it so i said i would take it, let me know if you know anyone keen for engine,gbox,loom,ecu. how much do you think all thats worth? i would say a bit because it bloody hard to find thos engines

i pick up gsr ex lancer when i finds the keys so i will grab interior diff ect off it then flick off engine and stuff

hey guys im Matt im 16 and thought i would chuck up a quick thing about my build and will update as go. so i started with 1200 ex lancer ripped the engine out and decided on sr20de so picked a full repower up and started as i thought the gbox tunnel had to be chopped so onto that it was i mounted the engine in there on mock up solid mounts then went and made some plates and nolathane mounts so engine now seems to be sitting in there nice just need to mount gbox and rebuild tunnel. i have now lined up to buy a factory gsr lancer which has lapsed rego so i am going to use the brakes diff clutch ect out of it and all the interior. i will be most likely selling the complete engine gbox loom ecu ect once i get it so let me know if anyone keen and how much you would pay. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=36092 <---discussion i will keep updating as i go.
