Made it home. Heater tap was the culprit. When I turned it to cold it stopped leaking. Fixed?

I suppose I should show my face, as it’s in my hood.

do tyres on the same axle have to have matching ratings?
Load rating must be within 2 numbers. Speed rating doesn’t matter because they are all more the 100kph

Depends if the inspector is lazy or not. They need to input the expiry when entering the wof into the computer.

even comes with hot air induction. I wonder if the factory air filter is still in the air box.

Re dash lights, check your alternator and battery. Often when there are codes everywhere it causes by low voltage. A lot of modern cars will turn off the alternator when idling until there is enough electrical load.

Probably not, seeing it’s Chinese.

They want plates to be mounted right way up so the smart cameras can read them. A lot of trailers have them sideways because there’s no where else to put them.

This was sent around work today. From March 24 you can new fail a WOF on your licence plates not being up to spec, and that includes the plates not being official (with the correct markings) and even goes as far as to indicate date and letter ranges for the types of plates. So if you had an aftermarket supplier convert your plates that are newer than MX#### to black, they have grounds to fail them since they know they are too modern, and don't have the reflective NZ logo of modern black plates.
It also straight up says that plates have to me aluminium, so a sticker plate now fails a WOF. Plates too dirty, fail. Plates worn or faded, fail.
Gonna be a lot of people caught by this.
This has now been postponed due to everyone saying WTF to NZTA. Especially for trailers.

NZTA hasn’t been LTNZ since 2008.
As far as the petition goes. I’m in the same boat as Clint. If you saw the shit I see as a WOF inspector, you would be against No WOF for old cars. I’d vote for 12 month WOFs for everything.

Don’t get it too clean. You’ll be too scared to use it in case it gets dirty again. I’m sure you don’t need to be told to make sure the cooling system is 110%
