Snapper (so named as he is so often found with camera people have remarked he may have been born with one) has been keen on cars since before he could read, and at 3 years old was found reading the job section of the evening post and pointing out "BP", "Shell", "Mobil".  Petrol runs in his veins.  At thirteen he was usually found turning the pages of "how to keep your volkswagen alive for the compleat idiot" in English class, and by the fifth form had negotiated a deal with his english teacher that on the strength of a weekly A-grade essay, he could read cycle world in class.  Although the attraction to petrol and all things automotive continued, our author soon realised some prioritisation of income was required to support the love of music and pursuit of a woman; accordingly whilst some would call his comparitively short list of vehicles owned a display of lacking commitment, he can be found under or around his (bwah hah ha) swedish boosting grocery-getter attempting to upgrade his duffer skills to that of bush mechanic.  Snapper found an unusual kind of fame after photographing the late Steve Austin $6 car, and subsequently finding the old school forum where his beat-off posting style alternately delights or puzzles the rezidenzia.
