I was planning on rocking up about 9:45ish to get a park not on the grass. Probably won't need to be there any earlier than that but hey, the earlier you are the closer to the coffee you get to park. My mate who runs it is usually there just after 8 coning the area off ready for all the Awesomeness. Also there is a $5 cover charge for Ladas. *grins*

The Monthly Cafeine and Classics meet is on again this Sunday. Was a huge last month with over 200 cars in attendance. WHERE: Smales Farm, Auckland WHEN: 10am till 1pm. WHAT TO BRING: All cars are welcome in any condition even Ladas! Last month is was already pretty full by 10am so if you don't want to park on the grass (providing it is another big month) then plan on being there early. I have always wanted a 110s. So much awesome and most people don't even know what they are! 2 members of our car club own Cosmos I was surprised to learn how many of these have made it to NZ. I always figured that when I got (as in one day in the near future) my one that I would be the only one in NZ. There are at least 5 that I know of (including yours) currently in NZ. I was pretty keen on that red 121 but wasn't keen to pay nearly $6k for it. Surprised the person who bought it didn't grab all the spares, but I guess it was a complete car, and not everyone hordes car parts like me I guess. Good news for you though is i guess you have a good source for car bits! That bumper looks so sweet with the over riders and the bonnet looks like it will come with little effort/coat of paint. Did I read it right that you were going to use a 929 bonnet? are they the same and I hope it wans't the one from the green one that I still want...

Caffeine and Classics is on again this Sunday. Cool cars and good coffee. Open to everyone (even Lada's) so pop on down, mingle and enjoy all the awesomeness on display. Starts at 10am and runs till 1am but you can arrrive and leave whenever you want. It's a very casual affair but is always a good way to spend a lazy Sunday...
