legendlives
Some nice reactions in the build section. Let's have your comments!
cletus
Should be a fun car. What mods have you done to the carbs to run blow through? Are they 450s ?
legendlives
Carbs are 650 mechanical secondary (not DP) The power valve drillings have been opened up, obviously larger pump and main jets. New Viton needle valves and a few other bits I can't remember!
HumberSS
This thing is batshit crazy. Excited to see progress. What sort of power?? I'm assuming it's a drag car?

I've always thought a good set of staggered rear wheels does wonders for the look of a TR7, but you're taking it to extremes!
legendlives
Power-wise we're looking at a conservative 700bhp, with enough scope to go more but I want to keep it reliable and (wherever possible) maintenance free. It will be drag only, but does have plates so if, accidentally of course, it should fall onto the road it won't look too out of place. Except for the bonnet bulge, 12" wide drag radials, pro stock rear wing and parachute......
BiTurbo228
You may well be on the cards for world's fastest TR7 at that rate!
BiTurbo228 Posted Thursday at 20:23 Share Posted Thursday at 20:23 Nice work on the axle links. Land Rover Discoveries have something similar in their axle location, with a single upper a-frame providing both fore-aft and side-to-side location. Theirs also houses a central gas strut for self-levelling which I thought was clever.
