I’ve repaired the front floor section and castlerail in preparation for the full floor to go in.

Some couch based metal shaping… 

There’s an annoying little bit of rust on the radius corner of the trans tunnel that’s not part of the floor panel. So started on a patch to use when the floor goes in.

A marketplace mission to Worthing yesterday for a set of Lotus Eclat 14x7s

looks like they’ll fit with only some 6mm spacers needed on the front to clear the arb. But will have to see with tyres.

Steering refresh today.

New TR ends and boots with a new UJ for the column too as the old one had some play.

Also replaced the offside engine mount at the steering column needs to come out to remove - the old one was split away from it’s plate.

Got around to cutting out the lil hole.

Mission for the summer is to get the floor in. Bit tricky street side but we’ll see how we go.

Had to service the carbs today after they starting leaking out the overflow. New floats and a clean up seems to have sorted it. New filter and fuel lines too.

Oil and filter changed before a road trip to Bath next week.
