zu2127 Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Ii have got an L200 87 mitsi ute with the 2 ltr petrol engine. I am looking for a carby to replacxe the one that I have as it is behaving very badly. It has been stripped down completely several times with no change in its behaviour. The engine starts but will not run. After a few seconds it dies as if it is run out of fuel. All I want to do is to sell the ute as a going concern. My priorities have changed and I need the ute gone. But having said that I won't give her away. If anyone can help me with a possible cause for this problem I would very appreciative. tortron Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 could be as simple as a blocked fuel filter, i assume its got gas and its fresh have you checked the fuel bowl after it stops? if its full, then yeah it could be the carbs problem, if its empty, then its further back Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
