SiRge
Day we got it ish back in March 2015. It's my partners car, she decided to get rid of her Accord and get this. Not complaining. 1981 Leyland 'City Edition' with black bumpers etc. Was originally brown at some point in it's life, now purple. Tan interior. Fairly rustless version of the car. Plans include keeping it legal, adjusting a few cosmetic enhancements without ruining the classic nature of the car and that's about it. SiRge
A year down the track we decided to fix up a few things are we're using this car for our wedding. So: - Flares - Wheels installed - 10" Wards - Internal bonnet release from newer mini - Front grill to match internal bonnet release (Old one used to be able to access from outside the car) - Black wing mirrors to match the car's theme (Only had drivers side one before, was a bit of a hack job)
SiRge
Electronic ignition added. Nothing much, just pleasure knowing I dont have to deal with points again. Got a few things to conveniently fix over the net 6 months before next WOF. Underside of car is looking less than desirable, need new tyres, brakes need adjusting. I purchased an 1100 for this, so hopefully tidy it up and see what it's got going on. I should learn how to strip down the simplest motor in the world.
