Popular Post 66gt Posted August 3 Author Popular Post Posted August 3 It lives! The engine sat for 8 years after I imported it from the UK. I decided to get the rope seals replaced on the crank so dropped it off to Taylor Automotive who stripped it down and replaced all the seals and gaskets plus put in a duplex adjustable cam gear to get the cam timing spot on. The head was ok but I decided to replace the valves and guides. Got the engine in and it fired up on about the 3rd turn. Let it run for about 20 min to break in the cam. Next job is to fit the exhaust and then all the mechanical is 100% complete 16 Quote
