kai1221
Hi all Really need some advise on this. i have a mk2 78 escort with a 1600 in it the engine is getting a re build soon and i would really like to do a cam upgrade on it. i keep getting mixed responses about this. basically what i need to know is can i just put the cam straight in or do i need to get the pistons pocketed to prevent the pistons hitting the valves. if thats true to get around that can i just put the 1300 pistons in to prevent this( are they pocketed enough) some advise to this would be great thanks..
