Threeonthetree
As long as the tank has some form of ventilation, you can remove the charcoal canister and the line running to it from the fuel tank. Assuming this is the canister: The canister collects excess vapour from the fuel tank, especially when the car has been sitting. When the engine is started the vapours are sucked into the engine and burnt. It's just an emissions control item to comply with the ADR regulations of the time. Threeonthetree
Really clean because it isn't mine hahaha. Yeah the canister is only really for Australia (not sure if it's all states) where the car still needs to run them or in concourse restorations.
