i just need to weld in proper mounts rather then the zip ties holding the whole thing togather at the moment haha.

and test to see if theres any problems with the float being at the angle its at.

ive been told by people to keep the pedels, where i was just going to replace with pegs, because they reckon i have to pedel upto a decent speed first before giving it gas, someone care to explain / give opinions?

what rpm will the motor pull?

what reduction are you planning on?

what top speed do you want?

single speed or gears?

does it have a clutch or some way to slip it to get up to speed?

what diameter rear wheel does it have?

answering some of these will help you figure out what you're in for.

my first bike had 44cc 2stroke (2x 22cc motors), centrifugal clutches, around 12:1 reduction,  a 20" rear wheel with two speeds (1:1 and something like 1.3:1 reduction) and would do 56kph, wringing the motors out to something like 8 or 9k rpm. was a painfully slow takeoff without the gear hub, entirely uninspiring!
