Dead brakelights

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, but I really can't be bothered fucking round on the driveway in the dark when the air is thick with mosquitoes.

Brake lights (both sides and high stop light) have decided not to work. I remember that most cars have a fuse labelled 'tails' or something, but I can't find that on my carina (same as *t14* corona). No other blown fuses on the board. Is it likely to be the switch on the pedal or fuse located away from main board?

Basically just looking for most likely causes to try and make this quick. In the time it took me to check the fuses I got more that 30 mozzy bites  :blackeye:

find the plug to the brake light switch under the pedals and then short the wires together. Check brake lights. If they are still off then it's likely a power feed/fuse issue. If the brake lights are now on then you have a faulty or mis-adjusted switch.
