DoBro Jesus Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 soooooo everyone has been saying that chucking mk 1 mirage rear shocks into ex's keeps the rears captive on cutties etc, but does that work on sigmas? i presume it would just wondering if anyone has tried it, allllssssssoooooooooo how much shorter are ex lancer rears than sigmas? chur. will i am Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 last time i chucked mk1 mirage shocks in a mates ex (bout 6 months ago) made his ultra cut springs captive. had to do some cutting to were the bolts go threw tho. bit wider on the mirage. nothing a angle grinder didnt fix down side is mk1 shocks arnt wide i put some kyb rear l300 shocks in my ex bout 3 years ago and they handle great. much fatter than the mk1 shocks, handle better aswell IMO i can measure mine at full length tommorow night if you want to get a idea if its going to work plus i cut my bump stops down by 45mm so get that extra travel compared to my mates ex Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
