larsenz
does anyone know if a s series diff out of a ae85 would fit handle a 4age sweet? also would it need to be shortened for a ke30
ae85 fiend
Yeah, its more of an upgrade than the ke30 diffs... If you sign up to the 'NZ Hachi' page on facebook, theres a guy called 'Ben Phillips?' he uses one in his ae85 and it seems to be alright, sold him one and he uses it as a daily I believe? 4AG_Addict
They handle the power ok if you are kind to them. Will require mounts changed over to suit Leaf spring setup in KE30. No readily available LSD options for S diffs. Personally I'd probably go E series from a townace/liteace over S series.
ae85 fiend
In the long run, wouldn't T or E, even F is you can get em cheap enough, would be better? not sure about E series, but LSD's are quite common for T and F, and you can get cooler ratio's for them easily too like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRD-Spec-Final-Drive-5-375-Crown-Ring-Pinion-AE86-TE27-AA63-Toyota-6-7-diff-/120993495112?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2bc63848&vxp=mtr
