datto_310 Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I have recently fitted a 32/36 DGAV onto my A15, it was a water choke set up but have removed all that, it starts and idle's ok but as soon as i try to drive it down the road i get roughly 15-20 seconds and then it just bunny hops as if its running out of fuel and wont start again, leave it for a bit starts back up sweet and then driving it same thing happens. excuse my ignorance when it comes to Carbs as i'm not very clued up on them, any ideas? things to do/check, im fairly confident i will need to change jets anyhow but would to bigger jets cause the above problem? Jase Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 sounds like you have a fuel supply issue or a vacuum leak. either your pump isn't delivering or your floats are set all wrong or its sucking air. get it idling and spray some engine start around the carb and manifold if it picks up you have a leak.
